Freddie Smith has been on the job with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services for 37 years and has decided it's time to close the books and go home. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a minor in religion. He went on the earn his Master's Degree in secondary education. In July, 1977, I became employed with state government as a rehab counselor. I worked with people with mental and physical disabilities, he said. I have worked in Hempstead County since 1978. That's not to say that I don't work anywhere else, because as a manager, I have 14 counties in Southwest Arkansas that I am responsible for. I counsel about 400 clients and I have 12 counselors in my jurisdiction with approximately 200 clients apiece. When asked what he would miss about work, he replied,ugg boots outlet, Being able to help others and having an impact on others to see a change in their life. Changing lives is Smith's business. We provide counseling services, job placement,social norms, family counseling,cheap ugg boots, and anything else to help a person be self-sufficient, Smith said. Shepherd of Peace offers many opportunities to study the Word in Bible studies throughout the week. Sundays are packed with a variety of children’s class, a youth/ young adult class on Acts, and an adult Bible discussion. Studies begin at 9:20am in various rooms. A Bible study is held each Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. As always, you are encouraged to join Shepherd of Peace during their regular services each Sunday. A tradition service, which includes the Lutheran liturgy, is held each Sunday at 8 a.m. A blended service is also offered at 10:30am.
